When we began this journey of adoption we knew that it was going to be one of the greatest gifts and challenges we have faced. The time, resources, bureaucracy, highs and lows, all of it beyond what we could imagine accomplishing on our own. The Lord called us to this journey and we have by faith, believed He would provide all things great and small through this process. We have seen Him provide at times when it seemed there was no way to accomplish what was asked of us without compromising...He was faithful to provide believers who could help us navigate the requirements in a God honoring way. We are so grateful for the many people who have answered the Lord's call on them to help us in different ways.
We have been amazed at how the Lord has worked through His people with their specific gifts and talents to support us in this journey. We have received generous donations throughout this process from people whom the Lord has given a tender heart towards our adoption and wanted to help us, Thank you.
Just this past Sunday we received a check from an entrepreneur in our church. The Lord laid on his heart to help us financially by running a special for families at our church, GFBC, who have various A/C needs checked out through his company, Golden Rule, that a portion will be donated to help with our adoption expenses. We are overwhelmed by the Lord's goodness to us through his people. Thank you, precious Miller Family your generosity overwhelms us.
We have also been approached by others who want to help adoptive families and they have come up with some very creative ways to help also. We are so thankful for the outpouring of love on our family. We pray that the Lord will use the testimony of our journey to encourage those who are adopting and to encourage those who are considering adoption...it is costly but, the Lord will provide in amazing ways. Psalm 89:1 "I will sing of the lovingkindness of the LORD forever; to all generations I will make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth."
