The streets of Moscow.
Emily is very excited as we are able to see some of the "White Nights". The sun went down last night at 10pm and it was daylight by 5am. We all had a restful night even amidst the sounds of the city. Us country folks are not use to hearing the all night sounds of a bustling city...especially on a Fri. night. We truly feel that we are experiencing what others are praying for us...traveling mercies. Thank you faithful friends for lifting us up.
It is raining here in Moscow today but it is a beautiful city. I am trying to soak up all the sights, sounds, and smells so that years from now when I am telling this story over and over to my children and one day grandchildren. I will remember every aspect of this foreign land that has now been grafted into our heritage.
Breakfast in our apartment. Yummy Russian pastries and kefir/yogurt.
