We met with Sergei at the Department of Education today after he observed us with the children at the orphanage. He's a very nice man who genuinely seems excited to see children adopted. Having Emily and J. Michael here with us was a blessing again, as Sergei really wanted to be convinced that Emily and J. Michael are OK with a new brother and sister so that he could testify in court on our behalf. Well, he didn't need much time to observe the 4 of them playing together to be convinced. He later mentioned specifically in our meeting that he was impressed that Emily and J. Michael are so eager.
We also met with our court-appointed translator, Anna, to review the schedule and what to expect in the court proceedings. We leave for court at 9:30 am tomorrow. By the time most of you wake up at home tomorrow , we should have legal custody of Andrew and Kathlena!
Just wait 'til they can race outside!
