Arkhangelsk Regional Court
Celebrating on the steps of the courthouse. (From left to right) Sergei, Daddy, Mommy, J. Michael, Helen, Dina (Andrew's orphanage director) and Anna (court appointed translator).
We we very impressed with Sergei, both in our meetings yesterday and also today in court. Keep in mind he is a Russian government official (Director of the Regional Ministry of Education). He is a very kind man who seemed very eager to see these children become members of our family. He even "thanked" us for doing this! He even made a point today to greet Emily and J. Michael, and he shook J. Michael's hand.
Dina has also blessed us. She had very kind things to say to the judge today about our family. She personally appeared in court, which often is not done by an orphanage director. She is a very sweet lady who is very happy to see Andrew getting a home.

Hi Shiflet Family,
Its is awesome that once again our Lord has created yet another beautiful family. What a blessed day it is for you.
I forgot to tell you, when you get home to slowly introduce the dogs to the kids. They will be afraid of them since they never had experience a dog or a cat before.
Your in our prayers!!

Thank you for documenting every step of this journey. It is evidence of God's faithfulness and will be such a precious gift for all of your children to look back on. Plus, we love celebrating with and praying for you!
